Over 20 years of experience · Hundreds of happy clients across the UK
More Than a Painting
They're your morning routine, your walking companion, the one who's always pleased to see you. But time is the one thing we can't control.
A hand-painted oil portrait freezes that moment — their expression, their character, the little quirks only you notice. It becomes a lasting part of your home and your story.
Whether it's a celebration of your best friend or a tribute to one who's no longer with us, every portrait is painted with care, patience, and genuine love for animals.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I commission a custom oil painting of my pet?
Simply choose your preferred size and complete checkout to secure your slot. You'll then share a favourite photo of your pet (plus a few extras) and a bit about their character. Laura will collaborate with you on composition and background colour.
What kind of reference photo works best?
A clear, high-resolution photo taken in natural light works best. Ideally, the eyes should be sharp and the pose expressive. If you're unsure which image to use, Laura is happy to advise.
How long does a pet portrait take to complete?
Usually 6–9 weeks depending on complexity and time of year. If you're hoping to gift the portrait for a birthday or Christmas, book well in advance to secure a slot.
How does payment work?
Full payment at checkout secures your slot in Laura's studio schedule. All payments are handled securely online via SureCart.
What framing do you offer?
For oil paintings on panel, Laura offers a chunky black frame with an off-white slip. For larger paintings on linen canvas, a plain white floating frame. Framing is optional — many clients choose their own.
Can you ship across the UK?
Yes. Once complete and fully dry, paintings are carefully packaged and shipped with tracked delivery via a trusted courier.
Do you only paint dogs?
Not at all! Laura has painted cats, horses, chickens, and all kinds of beloved animals. Every portrait is bespoke.
Can you paint a pet who has passed away?
Yes. Many portraits are commissioned as tributes to animals no longer with us. These memorial portraits are especially meaningful, and Laura works sensitively with the images and stories you share.
Can I give a pet portrait as a gift?
Absolutely. Pet portraits make thoughtful gifts. Laura can help plan timing or offer a gift voucher if you'd prefer the recipient to choose.
